Of all the great rivalries between software companies in this world Parallel Desktop and VMWare Fusion is one of the greatest I have experienced. Feature by-feature these two companies have been battling it out for years for supremacy in the Mac virtualization market. Personally, I used VMWare Fusionʼs previous version simply because I preferred the extra performance on my weaker, previous polycarbonate Macbook, but when both companies released new versions of their software I decided to give both of them a try.
